Andrew E. I tryed restarting my computer but when I try to play music on
windows media player is say ' windows media player cannot play this file
because there is a problem with your sound device. They my not be sound
device installed on your computer'

Investigate your sound card!
Look in Device Manager and see if there is a Yellow Exclamation mark -
incorrect drivers.
Click on remove and restart the computer and it should detect it as a new
device.
You will need the correct drivers before following this process.
