Hi,
I've a Gigabyte 8VM533M motherboard with an P4 2.0 GHz, 256 MB
DDRAM, integrated ProSavageDDR graphics and a Barracuda 80 GB HDD. The
system was working fine for the first 5-6 months since I bought it -
suddenly on a reboot one day it refused to boot up. There's one long
beep followed by two short beeps - consulting the manual I found it
referred to a video/monitor error. However if I remove the harddrive
and the floppy drive the beeps are short and continuous. Also, after
the 1 long, 2 short beeps, there's a n odd scratching noise (like
radio static) on the pc speaker. Is it a graphics error or something
else? Has anybody faced the same problem?

Thanks in advance
~talonx
