See if you can change the hard drive mode from AHCI to something like IDE or Compatibability mode

If it is in IDE or compatibability mode, change to AHCI

If no fix, there was a menu. Press "Start windows normally" then mash down the F8 key until a menu appears, Select "disable automatic restart on system failure"

Your laptop is blue screening, this could be caused by a updated driver or other update. Try booting into safe mode and do a system restore or if you can’t get into safe mode press F8 when booting up and select “boot with last known good configuration”

When you say that you swapped out hard drives do you mean that you have another hard drive spare that used to work? If so then the other main reason that computers blue screen is faulty memory. Try running a memory test program such as memtest86.
