For users of the 8INXP motherboard, and others, there is an updated driver
for the ALC 650E codec here:

Has anyone located a more recent driver for the Promise 20276 chipset yet?

Can't seem to locate any at the Promise website.

You might be interested in the following references to
"update"/"modification" of the Promise 20276 on the motherboard.

I applied the modification to an 8IHXP (soldered a resistor, replaced
the Gigabyte BIOS with the "Full RAID" BIOS) and have been running a
dual RAID with 4-120 GB drives at 240 GB per pair for over a year with
zero problems and blinding speed. The most current drivers were found
by Windows XP without my having to update them myself once the BIOS
was modified.
