Hello,
I have a questrion regarding cartridges:
since one refilling colour can be used for more types of printers, can one
cartidge be used in more than one printer?
For example, can I put black cartridge HP(51629A) into HP Desk Jet 640 or
690 or 697 and be able to print ?

This question maybe shows my inexperience in these matters, but I really
need the answer!

Thanks in advance

I believe all three printers you list use the same cart so the answer is
yes.

This may not be true for all makes of printer - some printers should not be
left without a cart inserted or the heads dry out.
