Epson 1520, 1440 dpi under Win XP?

Why is it that the drivers for Win XP have so many fewer features than
the Win 98 drivers? How can I get the advertised 1440 dpi out of this
printer under Win XP Pro? Will I have to install the Win 98 drivers and
hope for the best?

You can't use Win9x drivers in XP. If Epson decided not to include the
extra features, then it's probably because it's a long discontinued unit and
they'd like you to buy a new printer.
