I have i problem with distorted sound on playing a dvd and music on xp.
Music sounds distorted on media player but is fine on real player. I
have changed sound cards, dvd drives, speakers and upgraded media
player, even taken media player off completley. But when i run a dvd
movie the sound still is distorted but the music is fine useing real
player. The pc is a old celeron 600 with 256 mb ram, OBV and SOUND,
which has had xp home upgraded with sp2 intergrated with the cd. I have
also tried different dvd software. You may say the pc is to old, but it
used to work fine before. Has anybody got any ideas??? It is pointing to
some file in xp i think, even music on the hard disk is playing
distorted but normal sounds are fine. I have tried media player 9 and
10.
