Contemplating getting a 8KNXP with a P4 2.8 (maybe 3.0) but can't
decide if I want to get the Prescott. I don't expect to overclock and
will probably get stock pc3200 memory (Crucial or Kingston). I'm
somewhat worried about heat problems with the Prescott with the
supplied standard cooling. Should I be? (I would probably be happy
with the Northwood coming from a PIII 450mz GA-6BA!)

Trust me, get a Northwood...Prescott's perform worse at stock speeds. Try
and get a 3.2GHz, they are only $266 now at Newegg.

I second that, with the exception of getting a 2.8 and clocking it to 3.4:)
