GA-7N400 Pro 2 Rev 2 - AC97 muffled speech

FWIW I experienced a problem with the realtek AC'97 drivers that came with
my 7N400 Pro 2 Rev 2. I think it was version 1.64. I found that speech was
muffled when watching DVD's & even MP3's! Music and other effects were
reasonably clear but speech was very soft and distorted in relation.

I downloaded the latest realtek driver from giga-byte page (version 1.71 was
reported when installing but driver version is listed as 5.10.0.5510 dated
27/02/2004 in device manager) and the problem was resolved.

Just thought I'd pass on in case anyone has this problem (using XP btw)
