I have recently aquired a GA-6VXC7-4X-P motherboard and am trying to upgrade
bios from 6XVC7-4X.f8 to 6XVC7-4X.fc.
(the one supplied by gigabyte) using the dos upgrade prog FLASH853.exe.
Everything goes ok until the programming stage when it hangs after the first
two sectors.
My original bios is still ok . Do I need to alter the clear cmos link onthe
motherboard? or is there something im missing?
Can any one help
Thanks in advance
Derek
