Very slow running computer.
In Taskmanager, shows 95% to 100% CPU usage --with nothing but the Taskmanager running.
When I disabled the andrea ST filter service, the computer began to run the way it should with normal CPU usage --with Taskmanager running it is now less than 5%.
My question is this: Will leaving the Adrea St filter service disabled cause a problem? What does it do? have I set myself up for something to not work at some future point?

Solution
Apparently it's something to do with noise-reduction on microphone input. I'd leave it disabled if it's causing problems.
