can you help?????...i have uninstalled /reinstalled my audio drivers and
herdware , still i can't seem to get sound , the error says that driver is
missing or corrupt(code 39) ?????? any advice.

the sound card is a sigmatel c-major audio card
it is on a dell inspiron 1100 laptop
windows xp

Did you get the latest drivers from the Dell website and install them in
Device Manager?
Did you call Dell support?
