Sometimes when I remove programs from the iPAQ 2210 redundant icons
are left behind in the programs folder. How dose one remove these? Is
it possible to access the Windows Pocket PC 2003 registry?

open file explorer on your 2210 and go to windows - startmenu. There are
the icons stored. Just long-click the stubborn icons and choose delete.

second question: yes, you can access the registry with the help of
registry-editing programs. I use PHM registry editor, a freeware program
which you can find at www.phm.lu/products It works abt. the same way as the regedit program of the desktop windows.

You just need to open file explorer, browse to the top folder, then to
Windows, then to Start Menu, then to Programs - and delete what toy dont
want. No need to regedit, or visit anyone's homepage

Thanks guys. I'm delighted - also for the registry program info.
