wonder if it will come in white or silver as well, would be a nice change since your seeing a ton more white cases now

amperage is also a factor and it doesnt say in the article. imo if it cant handle a delta fan it doesnt belong in a computer

[citation][nom]becomecooler[/nom]I wish they also integrated a duel 2.5" hdd/ssd mount in the back of these units to better use the space. Great look though![/citation]
Wattage=voltage x amperage therefore 36 watts at 12 volts = 4 amps.

Not sure why a fan controller makes news. Though if it won't make my fans sing a whiny tune like the POS overpriced sunbeam unit I have now, I would buy one.

For a given power source, the two go hand in hand.. If you know the max wattage, then all you need to know is the given voltage to figure out amps.. amps = watts/volts watts = amps x volts

[citation][nom]robthatguyx[/nom]when you splice more than one fan per channel[/citation]
Yeah, but this controller supports 6 fans. Why would you need that much cooling?

360mm push pull rad itself would use 6 120mm then the usual backside 120/140mm fan then most cases have front fans and some have side fans i can think of a few that would take 10 fans

You'd be amazed at how many watts a few Delta fans on a radiator can pull. Probably be amazed at the noise, too...

Water cooling, I use many low speed silent fans. My graphics cards never go above 60C at max load and my computer is super quiet.

What computer fan pulls 36 watts?
There are a few jet engine type fans that move a ton of air... really only good for systems that you can put into a different room so you dont have to hear the noise they make.

I would order one of these today if it was available. The design is very clean and should complement my Silverstone FT02 nicely.

How many fans do I need? Well, as of TODAY I have:

1 x 140mm rear fan
1 x 230mm front red LED fan
1 x 230mm top fan
1 x 230mm side fan
2 x 120mm CPU fans (Ultra Kaze)
1 x 120mm HDD Cage fan

This doesn't even take into account my GPU fan or my PSU fan (which are not controlled by a fan controller).

I planned on eventually swapping the side fan with 4 x 120mm Ultra Kaze fans, the top fan with 3 x 120mm Ultra Kaze Fans, and the front fan with 2 x 120mm Ultra Kaze fans...

Those fans are LOUD LOUD LOUD and need a fan controller for when I am not overclocking...

I was thinking of getting a Scythe KQ02-BK Kaze Q12 12-Channel Fan Controller to complement all my fans... But I discovered that the design of the HAF along with my new HDD cage fan, was sufficiently cooling my components, and only use 2 controllers on my 2 existing Ultra Kazes when I game...
