Hi All,
I've just got a couple of Belkin USB mice for a couple of Dell Inpsiron
laptops I've recently recieved. I expected to simply plug these in and have
them work. No such luck. ABout 90% of the time XP fails to identify them and
just says they are an 'Unknown Device' - This is shown in the Device
manager. Other times (but very rarely), it picks the mouse up as a 'human
interface device' and then it works. However, there's no apparent sense to
whether it works or not - it looks random.

Has anybody, any ideas. There was no driver s/w with the mouse. Have
downloaded drivers from the belkin website but these make no difference.

Hi,

Try update the USB drivers before using the mouse.
