Is it possible to connect two SATA hard drives to a GA-8ANXP-D motherboard
without it being in a RAID configuration? To be honest I do not really
require this and all performance tests i've seen have hardly been brilliant
to show raid up as the way forward on desktop PC's.
I've got two Raptor 10,000rpm sata drives. Can I still benefit from their
performance gains if they are not Raid(ed)? To do this is it a matter of
simply altering the BIOS to disable RAID (SATA / AHCI Mode set to disabled?)
or is that not possible and it is the only way this board uses sata drives?
