Kofax card problems

I have a Kofax Adrenaline 1700 SW SCSI card running a Fujitsu scanner. It
worked fine in Windows 98. Then I put it in a new IBM M50 (8187-43u)desktop
running XP Pro SP1. This works fine except it keeps uninitializing itself.

If you leave it for a few minutes it uninitializes itself and you have to
reinitialize it before you can continue. I believe I have turned off all
hibernation and screen\power savers both in XP and in the BIOS, but this did
not fix the problem.

Kofax and IBM have not been able to help.

No DMA, IRQ or memory conflicts.
Lots of memory, hard drive and processor power.
Any ideas???
