After only 2 months, my Epson R300's have come up with 'Your printer is
nearing the end of its service - parts inside the printer need replacing'
They then stop altogether. I presumed this was due to the ink cleaning pad
sensor/counter, so here's how you clear it and reset it - power off, then
hold down the power, maintenance and stop buttons for around 10 seconds. Let
go, and the display says 'printer cleaning counter reset - switch off
printer' or something similar. The printers are all working fine again,
however I suspect I will need to get replacement pads fairly sharpish.
