I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical in a new Windows XP system.
In Excel when I scroll with the wheel each increment of the wheel advances
10 rows. In my old Win 98 PC it advanced only 3 rows which is what I want.
Can I set it to change back to 3?
Thanks.

Don't know about MS's version, but my Logitech version has a configuration
that can be changed either from the Windows Control Panel - i.e. mouse or
from with Start Programs Logitech Mouse - I would think you could make the
appropriate substitutions for your brand of mouse and arrive at the same
conclusion.

Need to install a version of the Intellipoint drivers. Then, you should be
able to control the scroll settings.

Yes, I have Intellipoint v. 5.2, but the mouse is a few years old. Maybe I
should be using older software.
