[SOLVED] Grey screen at start up on my ibook 4G

Hello,
i need to repair my ibook G4 from freezing at start up i cant even get into safemode can you guide me through it ?

Command + S (single user mode)
enter in terminal the following
/sbin/fsck -fy
/sbin/mount -uw /

Sometimes i run
/sbin/fsck -fy
again after the mount command depending

Have you tried zapping your PRAM? Hold Command+Option+P+R while booting up and wait for 3 dings before you let go.

Honestly, probably a shot logic board. This is at least an 8 year old computer; I'd think about investing in a new Macbook, or if you don't want to spend >$1k, get a cheap PC laptop.
