When I plug my SanDisk compact flash card reader into my D-Link USB hub
Windows recognizes the device and starts the Found New Hardware Wizard but
then tells me there was a problem installing the device. THE SPECIFIED
SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST AS AN INSTALLED SERVICE. The card reader doesn't
work. I get the same result when I plug my IPOD into its docking station,
that's plugged into a firewire card, but I'm able to use the IPOD and its
software just fine. Please help me with this annoying problem. Thanks

Joel, try disconnecting all your USB devices, rt click on MyComputer>select
Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>USB
Controllers>rt click on each one and choose Uninstall. Restart and let
WinXP reinstall them. Reconnect USB Devices.
