I need help. My pocket pc battery drained down to nothing. After
recharging it and trying to resync it with active sync, it keeps running the
wizard to create a new partnership as a new user. How can I make it resync
with the old data like it was before the reset? I've tried setting the
device id to what it was, but to no avail. Active sync thinks it's a new
device and won't recognize it as an existing setup.

Please help!
Thx
Roger

On ActiveSync you can delete the partnership - being carefull not to delete
the sync files folder. (copy this one before just in case).

Then you can create the partnership again.

Better yet, just let is sync as guest. Then do the restore of the data.
Do a soft reset and next time it will sync ok.

I know you have to reset the regional settings first before doing a full
restore. I keep forgetting and it drives me nuts.
