I had a motherboard going bad, so I replaced it.

Had to do a repair reinstall of XP by booting the XP disk.

Now I can't do an update of Windows XP.

Whenever I try, the screen locks up and the only way out is to kill it
with task manager.

How do I fix this?

Thanks

WLW
