Have had many epsons here networked. I installed the R800 and set up one
of the machines on my network, printer worked fine. Tried another
computer on the network (laptop) these area ll XP Pro machines, and
after the software install it would not print, finally checked main
computer connected to the R800 and it was no longer a shared printer.
Nothing I could do worked until I did a system restore.

Once I was ok, I tried another computer and had a similar problem.

Seems to have to do with the status monitor??

Print quality is great, And the quietest ink jet I have ever heard.

Maybe you could buy the C84n, which is designed to be placed directly onto a
network without being attached to any pc?
