the error message tells me there is a sharing violation. I
have tried many times to resolve but still no go. This

Hi Kim,

* Where do you get this error message? (Desktop / Pocket PC)
* How are you trying to remove the program?

If its on the PPC, try removing it after performing a soft reset. A soft
reset shuts all running applications and frees up the memory.

I too am having a problem removing, not a program, but
just a "file". And I've tried the soft reset of the PPC,
and I still can't delete the file.

It's a "font" file, so perhaps Windows is loading this
file regardless (of the fact that it's a Chinese font and
would only be used by the Chinese-English dictionary
program I have).

I try to delete the file, both in Explorer as well as a
utility I downloaded ("Pocket Mechanic" ). Neither allows
me to delete the file.

Appreciate any other suggestions.
