Hi all.
I have this problem (is not clear if it is a Win/XP problem or a BIOS ....)
When I turn on my system ( ASUS P4P800-SE; P4 3.2 Ghz HT ; Win/XP PRO SP2)
the hw starts but the screen is black and nothing else happen.
Then I press the hw-reset button, the system restarts and all works fine.
Any idea about that ?
I boot my system from a SATA HDD, may be this the problem ?

Have you checked the Asus web site? They may have forum that can help.

I have sent an email to ASUS support team, the answer was : contact your
local service.
Anyway the solution was (by myself) to set ENABLED the BOOT BIOS setting
"interrupt 19 capture" MB is ASUS P4P800 SE
