Does anyone this combination (on a Rev 1.0 or 2.0 board)? How do you find
it?

So, nobody on this planet owns a GA-8ik1100, let alone in combination with a
P4 Prescott CPU???

I am using this board (Rev.2) with 3.4G CPU, 1 G dual channel PC3200
RAM. Inno3D 6800GT AGP Card. Have been running for more than 6
months and very stable. No problem so far. Power supply is Antec
true power 430W. Highly recommended board to use.

Here P4 3.0 GHz (Northwood) on IK1100 Rev.2. Works like a charm (of
course)... never experienced probs with Intel nor Gigabyte.

Hi Tom

Can I ask what display adaptor you're using?

Thanks, PL

Rev 2.0 here. Works fine. The board is giving me difficulties with what
memory to use.

I am using an intel P4 3.06 FSB533 with the GA-8IK1100 Rev. 2.0.
Display adaptor is the Gainward SilentFX Ultra/980 XP Professional.

Had this combination (Prescott 3.0E) on a 2.1 board with 1 GB of Corsair
PC3200 in dual memory mode. Worked great for five months running W2K /
RAID-0 with WD Raptor drives, then the motherboard died. Would not post
one morning after overnight in mode S3 (suspend to RAM) - no video, no
post diagnostics. Gigabyte has it in California for refurb / repair /
replacement. They've had it for a week now, with no word. They say
they'll get it back in 30 days, which sure seems like a long time.
Especially if it was my only computer.....
