Does anyone know...

The manual for the GA-8SIMLH-P-C says that this motherboard supports
0.13 micron Notrthwoord processors. It also states that it supports
400 / 533 <Hz FSB.

SO...

Has anybody tried using this motohtboard with the new Celeron "D"
series? I was pretty sure that these were low-end Prescott cores, but
they are S478, and they do run at 533 FSB - and they are cheap and
have 256K cache instead of 128K! Heck a 2.4 GHZ is less than $100 CDN
spanking new!

Anyone know off hand???

Thanks!

According to the Gigabyte website, it depends on the PCB revision and BIOS
version of the motherboard..
Take a look at this page and find the board in the listings..
