Have installed new DVD rom drive TS-H552B Toshiba/Samsung Duel Layer.
Device Manager says it loaded drivers, but cannot find hardware CODE 41.
Banging head against wall. Local repair centre says this is
impossible..???????

ERROR 41 Microsoft says re-install. Have tried, no joy still says same.

It might not be jumpered correctly.

Have tried replacement DVD rom - same. Have tried reinstalling known working
CD rom - same. Jumper set to Master. Have un and re seated cable contacts.

Have also installed new IDE cable - no joy
