Well, you can't give the new one the same name unless you delete the old
partnership from the PC first. AS won't allow it, like two hosts with the
same name on a network.
Easiest way is to just use a new name and sync the new PPC to the two
machines as if it was brand new. It will let you set up new partnerships and
populate the PIMs just like the first one did.
Programs and such you will just have to install on the new machine. That is
pretty easy with ActiveSync on the machine the programs were installed on
originally. Go into Add/Remove programs and check the apps you want to
install. Respect the licensing agreements and you will normally need your
reg codes. But it is pretty painless.
