Hello

When I print a testpage everything is fine. However, when I print from
any Windows application, such as Notepad, Wordpad, Excel or Word the
document is sent to the printer but not printed. No error message
shows up.

Any idea why this could be?

Thanks and best regards
Paul

My network:

- PC1 with Windows XP
- PC2 with Windows 98 SE
- PC3 with Windows XP

Printer (Panasonic KX-P7100, latest drivers) is connected to the
USB-port of PC3.

All 3 PCs are in a Network via a Belkin-Router. Everything works fine
within the Network.

PC3 and PC2 can print normally to the printer; but PC1 can not.

There is no software firewall runing.

Try swapping the port cables on the router for pc3 and pc1 and see if
pc3 can still print.

xp is pretty much network friendly and should update the ip address
without needing to reboot

atleast that will narrow down if its a pc setting/driver or perhaps a
router console setting.
