How do i fix a code 10 can not start? I'm a dummy so any help would be good

A good place to start would be to identify when this occurs. Is it when
plugging in a device? If so, what is the device and where is it plugged in?

Is the device correctly identified, and is it in fact compatible with XP?

Yes its comaptiable, it was working before, could removing my cd drive affect
it?

It's a sound blaster something, it has that yellow Exclamation mark onit in
Device Manager
