Can i play games like creed2,bioshok2,dirt2,etc on windows 7 64 bit?

my os - e7400 core 2 duo 2.8
- 4 gigs ddr3 1333 ram (2x2)
-gts 450 gpu
-1600x900 screen res
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit



can i play the games that were released on 2010 and the games r cumin in da future? i had 32 bit version of windows bt i upgraded my os to 64 bit ......creed2 worked fine with 32 bit.... but will it work on 64 bit...???

If it woRked on 32bit, then it will probably work on 64bit. Btw, your processor is bottlenecking your system. I would recommend upgrading to a quad core later on. You won't be able to run newer games very well without a quad core processor. You MAY be able to get away with it at lowest settings.

not true... Some older games will not run on 64bit at all... They are written on 32bit only... Note that im talking about before 2004...
 
Yes you can run those games in Win 7 64-bit just fine. A few odd games will have trouble installing, like Gothic 4 and often due to the 64-bit os using the ProgramFiles(x86) folder, but if they worked in vista or win 7 32-bit you can usually make them work in win 7 64-bit. That's really just poor testing on the part of the publisher though.

Older games that use certain kinds of DRM, such as older SecureROM and Star Force older than 4.0, may not run and may cause problems if you manage to install them. Some games don't support Vista or Win 7 at all because they use depreciated APIs or rely on bugs or odd system behavior. I haven't really tried too many older games with my current 64-bit install though.
