Why wont activesync connect for my Power User account?

Are you talking about creating a new login account on your
desktop computer? if so, you might find you have to install
activesync again -before- you connect your PPC.
You might also have to remove the PPC from Device Manager
on the computer before you install ActiveSync again.

I tried that.
I couldn't install Activesync as the power user and had to do it as the
admin. After I did that, I still got the same problem.

Also, my power user doesn't seem to be able to see my Lan either.
Perhaps they are related.

I assume the power user account has received (or should receive)
the same access rights to the local system? There might be something
missing that is preventing you from installing the software correctly.
At worst, you could delete the power user account, clean up any
leftovers of it's profile from the system and re-create it with a
different password on it (if any) and then try ActiveSync again.
As for the LAN, these might also need to have Power User added to
their properties.
