My MSI socket 7 motherboard had a CNR riser. I purchased an Intel network
card but the motherboard does not recognize the card. I am running XP SP2,
Any thoughts?

Richard.

To get the CNR riser setup you will probably have to change a setting or two
in the BIOS. If you tell us the motherboard model we may be able to help.
I say "may" because CNR is not always as straight forwards as you may think.
Almost all motherboards sporting CNR slots will accept a CNR modem card,
some will accept a CNR Sound Card, and a few will accept a network card.
Lets hope your motherboards is one of the few!
