My Windows XP reports the following error:
"Aplication Popup - Application Error: The instruction at "0x77f59f49"
referenced memory at "0x1a191817", the memory could not be read."
Is this a software error or a hardware error? I need more details about
this...Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Find, download and run Memtest'86. This is a good free memory test system,
that works off a floppy disk or bootable CD. This should be able to tell
you is the memory hardware is bad. Also, you may need yo run it a couple of
times so as to see if the problem is with the memory sticks or the
motherboard. My experinece is if the faulty memory spot changes place
during each test, it likely a sign that the motherboard memory slots, or
controller, is failing.
