I have an epson perfection 2580 scanner and I cannot install it! I have
installed the software and then connected the scanner .The found new
hardware wizard starts up but at some point asks for Windows Sp2 .I
insert the cd but that seems to make no difference and eventually says
there was an error installing the hardware and it may not work! Only
too true! I have windows XP . :confused:

Sue, try the latest driver from Epson. Remove any old Epson Software
from Add/Remove in Control Panel first.
