Win xp not recognising 56k v90 modem

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware (More info?)

You will need to visit the laptop manufacturer website and download XP
drivers for the modem.. if for some reason, the driver is not available, a
PCMCIA modem could be used in the laptop's PCMCIA slot..
