Hi,

What are pros and cons of these two interfaces? Are agp mobos still worth
buying? Also what are the differences between the 3 AMD sockets available
now?

Thanks
Jo-Anne

There are no pro's to either AGP or PCI-E other than if you already have an
AGP card and want ot use it,you wont be able to use some of the newer mobo's
unless you buy a PCI -E card. SLI is the only big advantage with PCI-E as far
as performance if you need the Ultimate. PCI-E offers no better
performance other than the SLI configuration. 754 and 939 offer
better performance CPU's than socket A. For the money the new Athlon 64 3000
and 3200 processors offer the best performance for the money. You can build a
very good system with some of the socket A XP processors if you know which one
to pick and which mobo to use.
