According to MSi if you have 4 sticks of double sided ddr400 running
the max this board will do is DDR333? Am I reading this right?

I know on a few other boards thats the case.I have a board that if you put
three sticks of single sided memory in,it defaults to 333MHZ,and thats with
3200 memory,so your probly reading it right.

Yes, that's correct. The AMD 939 and 940 pin chips have the DRAM
controller built into the CPU, and the on-chip drivers (hardware pads,
not software drivers) can't handle the current levels required to drive
2 DIMMs populated with DRAM chips on both sides (it's the number of
DRAM chips, not the number of sticks) on a single channel.
