I keep getting a message that says:
"reinstall following module to your system 32 directory:
comm.drv"
How do i go about getting this module?
Where can it be found on the web?
My computer came with WindowsXP professional installed on it and there is no
disk to utilize.
If you can help me please contact me via email at
suthnboy@bellsouth.net
Thanks

Its now 2009 and I'm having the same exact problem with XP, with exactly the same error message.
It only happened after installing Office Home and Student 2007 ( plus updates)
The latest (last 3) security updates will not install.
I did install over Office 97 Professional, Excel worked fine but word (2007) has always had problems
I cannot uninstall or repair and don't know what files to remove to allow me uninstall it. (office 2007)
I can't find information on comm.drv in XP, only windows 3.1~98 which doesn't work.
Computer still works its just really irritating to have microsoft nagging to instal security update that won't work
