I have just installed an ATHLON XP 3000+ , now the computer boots up
fine reads the ram okay , loads windows fines and everything works
perfectly however when I try to play Pacific Fighters or Counter
Strike : Source the computer locks up , I think it has something to
do with my ram settings my mobo is a KT3-Ultra 2-R it has the latest
bios 5.7 I changed the fsb to 166 mhz , the ram is 2 * 512mb of
PC2700 DDR my settings for the ram are
Current host clock : 166 mhz
Configure SDRAM timing : by SPD
SDRAM FREQUENCY : HCLK
SDRAM CAS LATENCY : 2.5
Row precharge time : 3T
RAS PULSE WIDTH : 6T
RAS to CAS DELAY : 3T
SDRAM BANK INTERLEAVE : disabled
SDRAM 1T COMMAND : disabled
Fast command : normal
as I said the computer works perfectly fine but I have the troubles as
soon as I load games does anybody have any suggestions please ??
