I am running a raid set of 2 wd raptor 74 gig drives on a MSI K8N Neo2 mb
and am trying to make an image of c: on another drive with powerquest
driveimage 7. I get error message "cannot find virtual volume image driver"
when attempting to create image. Norton (who bought powerquest) makes this
statement on their fac concerning this error -

a.. A common cause of this problem is that another low-level hard drive
utility has access to the drive. Some possibilities might be Norton Speed
Disk, Windows Disk Management, or Acronsis. To avoid the problem, disable
any other hard drive utilities before running your imaging program.

Need any info on possible work around or patch I might be unaware of. Have
already updated Driveimage, mb has latest bios (1.4 11/22/04) and msi
updater says drivers are latest ver.

I have had a similar problem with kt8 neo2 F motherboard. It will only
post after cmos is cleared and I can only select the default. I can not
restart without clearing the cmos again. The bios will not accept
changes even though it says the cmos is incorrect. If a change is made
and saved the machine will not post.

Runs fine once I get into windows.

Use the "disaster recovery" software to create images via DOS.
