I am trying to install a wireless network card on a laptop computer. I
follow all of the instructions in the installation guide and the drivers all
load properly. When I go to Contropannel>>>Driver Manager and call up the
driver manager menu under networks the display shows the network is
installed correctly. When I oinsert the card in the slot provided an icon
showing the network appears, showing the machine has recognized the card.
The instructions say to right click the network icon which brings up a third
menue which has "view wireless networks". The instructions state to left
click the view menue which should bring up an other menue that allows you to
configure the wireless network. No wireless network is listed and the
network icon has an"X" through it indication that the network probably
cannot be contacted and activated.

I have Norton Tools on the mchine and I am wondering if that program could
be causing a conflect.
