I have my PocketPC set to continuously sync with my Toshiba e355 but find
that when I create a contact or appointment on the desktop with notes it
syncs OK but the notes are aren't in english anymore they are in some kind
of arabic looking script.

Any solutions

Somewhere, a language setting is set to Western Alphabet. You need to set
the language to UTF-8. I had this problem with Pocket internet Explorer.
Not sure where the setting is, but this is most likely the culprit . . .
