Hi,

Have installed a low rpm CPU fan on an old K7T Pro (VT82C686A) and the fan
does not start.

Actually it starts for one second when I plug the power supply (I had the
same behavior with my old fan), but when I switch on the PC it does not
work .

The fan speed should be around 2200 rpm (it is a Arctic Cooling cooper
lite) and the Bios has been updated to 3.6 and from what I understand it
should support low rpm fan since version 3.4. Actually the PC starts with
the fan unplugged so it should not be a bios problem.

I have also tried to warm the CPU up to 55 deg C without success.

Finaly I have tried to connect the Fan to the 12V of the floppy drive with
the same behavior (start 1 sec when I plug the power supply).

Has nyone faced such problem ? how can I see if the fan is dead ?

Thanks in advance,
Stephane
