Hi,

I just installed my SN45G system with a Athlon XP 3000+ FSB 400, a Sapphire
Radeon 9800 pro, 512MB RAM and a Maxtor 80GB harddisk.
The system runs stable (I just played Far Cry for about 5 hours!) but when
booting the PC sometimes locks up:

when Windows takes over from the BIOS there's a long break (about 30
seconds) then the XP boot screen comes up and the blue bar keeps running for
about three turns then it suddenly stops.

After resetting the system it will boot up properly.

I downgraded to an older BIOS, changed the graphic card and tried fail safe
settings in BIOS.

Any more suggestions?

Thanks.

Maybe you are in lack of power. The PSU is rather small at most of the
"older" shuttles

I also tried an external 350W high performance power supply - same problem.

Hi,

I just wanted to post the solution o my problems: it was the fault of the
Catalyst drivers. Now I'm running te Omega drivers and everything is fine
and the performance even increased.
