yes, generic blows. It's given people lots of problems, specially with amd. My rig hates generic, it's a rather spoiled computer

although sometimes you get a good stick.....sometimes.

if you got that generic to run at cl2 140Mhz i'd be surprised.

do a price watch for micron and i think the cheapest is like 24 USD, like 42 CAD.
