After installing the software and connecting the Epson 4180 scanner, the
error message, "Please install the supported TWAIN driver" appears with every
attempt to start the scanner. After installing this new equipment on 4/2/05,
an updated driver was downloaded and installed ... same result. Any
suggestions?

For Windows XP and Me users:
Check if your scanner's icon appears more than once. Double-click the
Scanners and Cameras icon in Control Panel. Remove your scanner's icon from
the window, then reinstall EPSON Scan following the instructions on your
Start Here poster.
Also, disconnect the Scanner and go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs
and Uninstall the Scanner Software and Driver. Restart, let XP load and then
restart again. Reinstall the Software and driver and reconnect the Scanner.
