When I start my system I am getting a report "Unable to start driver for
HPHipm11.exe' then the WinXP error report window says 'HPHmon04 has
encountered a problem and needs to close'. Now I don't have the icon in the
tray that indicated the presents of my CF card allowing me to close so I can
remove card. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong and how to correct this
driver load error? I have tried to update driver but and told I have most
recent.
TIA

That's funny, I've had the exact same error for the longest time. Printing
is fine, and I don't use the card reader because it's too slow - so I
haven't bothered to investigate.

I did some searches and found it has been a problem for a few years now
with some HP printers. I finally found a driver update. I uninstalled and
reinstalled the new driver and for now all is fine.
